Posted on May 05, 2023I love the look of this desk! However, I'm having trouble assembling it. The instructions are a bit unclear and I'm struggling to attach the door correctly. Can you provide more detailed assembly instructions or maybe a video tutorial that shows how to put it together?

Answered on May 07, 2023The door can be mounted to open from the right or left side, so make sure you have it oriented correctly before attaching it. Start by aligning the hinges on the door with the pre-drilled holes on the desk frame. Use the screws provided to securely attach the hinges. Ensure the door opens and closes smoothly. If you're still having trouble, I'd recommend checking for any obstructions or misaligned parts. You may also want to refer to the online assembly instructions or contact IKEA customer service for further assistance

Answered on Dec 25, 2022The shelf behind the door on the MITTCIRKEL / ALEX desk can be moved and adjusted as needed. It is not fixed in place. You can reposition the shelf to different positions to accommodate your storage needs. Simply remove the shelf, then reattach it in the desired location within the cabinet space behind the door
