Posted on Oct 08, 2023I'm having trouble assembling the chairs, specifically the backrest won't click into place properly. Are there any specific steps I need to follow or is there an issue with the design?
Kenzo @ EasyRebuild
Answered on Oct 10, 2023The issue with the backrest not clicking into place properly could be due to a few potential reasons:
1. Ensure that the chair seat and backrest are properly aligned before attempting to click them together. The backrest should fit snugly into the designated slots on the chair seat.
2. Check that there are no obstructions or debris preventing the backrest from locking into place. Gently clean the connection points if needed.
3. Verify that all the required hardware (screws, bolts, etc.) has been properly installed. Missing or loose hardware can prevent the backrest from securing correctly.
4. If the chair components seem damaged or deformed, there may be an issue with the product itself. In this case, you may need to request a replacement part from IKEA customer service.
Take your time and follow the assembly instructions carefully. With a little patience, you should be able to get the backrest clicked into place properly. Let me know if you have any other questions

Posted on Dec 30, 2022I am trying to clean the table top, but it seems that some of the scratches are still visible after wiping with a soft sponge. What can I use to remove these scratches without damaging the finish?

Posted on Jul 16, 2022I would like to know more about the material of the table top, is it melamine or wood? Also, are the chairs stain-resistant and can they be easily cleaned if a spill occurs?
Alice @ EasyRebuild
Answered on Jul 18, 2022The table top is made of solid wood, not melamine. It has a soft-touch feel and an anti-reflective matte black finish for a timeless, elegant look.
The chairs are designed to be easy to clean. The smooth, bowl-shaped seat and rounded backrest are made of materials that are stain-resistant and can be easily wiped clean, even if there is a spill. The clean lines and simple design make the chairs ideal for families with children
