Posted on Oct 10, 2023I have an IDÅSEN underframe and want to know if I can adjust the legs to make it lower than the minimum recommended height of 24⅜". Is there a way to secure the legs at a lower level without compromising the stability or warranty?

Answered on Oct 12, 2023The IDÅSEN underframe is designed with an adjustable height range between 24⅜" and 29⅞". Lowering the legs below the minimum recommended height of 24⅜" is not advisable, as it could compromise the stability and safety of the desk. Doing so would also void the 10-year warranty. I would not recommend attempting to secure the legs at a lower level, as that could lead to structural issues. The best approach is to use the underframe within the specified height range to ensure proper functionality and safety

Posted on Jul 08, 2022I need help with adjusting the legs of my IDÅSEN underframe. I've tried adjusting them, but they won't stay in place at the desired height. What could be causing this issue and how can I fix it?
Kenzo @ EasyRebuild
Answered on Jul 10, 2022The issue you're experiencing with the IDÅSEN underframe legs not staying in place at the desired height is likely due to the adjustment mechanism not engaging properly. Here are a few steps you can try to resolve this:
1. Ensure the legs are fully inserted into the underframe. They should click into place securely.
2. Check that the adjustment levers on the legs are functioning correctly. Try moving them up and down to ensure they're not stuck or damaged.
3. Make sure there is no debris or obstructions preventing the legs from locking into the desired height. Wipe down the adjustment mechanisms to remove any dirt or dust.
4. If the issue persists, the adjustment components may be worn or damaged and will need to be replaced. Contact IKEA customer service for assistance with obtaining replacement parts.
Following these troubleshooting steps should help you get the IDÅSEN underframe legs adjusted and locked in place at the height you need. Let me know if you have any other questions
