Adjustable feet make the table stand steady also on uneven floors.
Board-on-frame is a strong and lightweight material with a frame in wood, particleboard or fiberboard and a recycled paper filling. It requires less raw materials and is easy to transport, which reduces the environmental impact.
The tabletop has pre-drilled holes to make it easier to attach to the underframe.
The plywood-patterned edge band adds to the quality feel.
Mix and match the table top with legs that you like – or choose this ready-made combination. The symmetrical square pattern of the table top enhances your decor, without overwhelming it.

Posted on Dec 13, 2023I'd like to attach a glass top to this desk, but I'm not sure if the pre-drilled holes are suitable for that. Can you confirm whether the holes are designed for a specific type of attachment or if they can be used with a glass top as well?

Answered on Dec 15, 2023The pre-drilled holes on the LAGKAPTEN / ADILS desk are designed for attaching the included underframe. They are not specifically intended for attaching a glass top. However, you can still use the existing holes to mount a glass top, but you may need to purchase additional hardware or brackets to securely attach the glass. Make sure to choose screws or fasteners that are compatible with the material and thickness of the glass top you plan to use. This will ensure a stable and safe attachment to the desk

Posted on Aug 07, 2023I am looking for a way to fix the legs of my Lagkapten desk, as they seem to be loose. Are there any screws or bolts that can be tightened to secure them?
Kenzo @ EasyRebuild
Answered on Aug 09, 2023To tighten the loose legs on your LAGKAPTEN desk, you can try the following:
The desk has pre-drilled holes in the tabletop to attach the underframe. Locate these holes and ensure the screws connecting the legs to the tabletop are tightened securely. You may need a screwdriver to tighten the screws.
If the screws seem worn or stripped, you can try replacing them with new screws of the same size. Make sure not to overtighten the new screws as this could damage the tabletop.
Additionally, the adjustable feet on the legs can be used to level the desk and prevent wobbling. Try adjusting the feet by turning them clockwise to raise the leg or counterclockwise to lower it, until the desk is stable on the floor.
If tightening the screws and adjusting the feet does not resolve the issue, there may be a more serious problem with the leg attachment. In that case, you may need to contact IKEA for further assistance

Posted on Mar 04, 2023I'd like to ask about assembling the Lagkapten/Adils desk. I've followed the instructions, but the table top doesn't seem to be fitting properly on the legs. Are there any specific tips or tricks for getting a secure fit?
Donna

Answered on Mar 06, 2023To get a secure fit between the Lagkapten tabletop and Adils legs, here are a few tips:
Ensure the pre-drilled holes on the underside of the tabletop are properly aligned with the mounting points on the Adils leg frames. Double-check that you've attached the leg frames in the correct orientation per the assembly instructions.
Make sure the screws provided are tightened fully to draw the tabletop and leg frames together tightly. You may need to go back and re-tighten the screws after initial assembly to ensure a snug fit.
If the holes don't seem to line up perfectly, you can try slightly loosening the screws, adjusting the position of the tabletop, then re-tightening. Go slowly and check the fit as you go.
Lastly, ensure the adjustable feet on the Adils legs are properly leveled to provide a stable, even surface for the tabletop. This can help compensate for any slight misalignment in the holes.
With a little patience and careful assembly, you should be able to get a secure, stable fit for your Lagkapten/Adils desk
