Answered on Dec 03, 2023To attach the table top to the underframe, you will need to use the pre-drilled holes mentioned in the product description. The recommended hardware is the screws that come included with the LAGKAPTEN / ADILS desk. These screws are designed specifically to securely attach the tabletop to the underframe. Simply align the tabletop with the underframe, insert the screws through the pre-drilled holes, and tighten them down. This will provide a sturdy and stable connection between the two components

Posted on Jun 12, 2023I have the Lagkapten/Adils desk, but I'm having trouble attaching the legs to the table top. The pre-drilled holes don't seem to line up with the leg fittings. What am I missing? Is there a specific technique or tool required to secure the legs properly?
Alice @ EasyRebuild
Answered on Jun 14, 2023Based on the product details, it seems the pre-drilled holes on the tabletop should align with the leg fittings. To properly secure the legs, I would suggest the following:
1. Carefully inspect the tabletop and leg fittings to ensure there are no obstructions or misalignment issues.
2. Use the hardware (screws, bolts, etc.) provided in the assembly kit and follow the instructions step-by-step.
3. If the holes still do not line up, you may need to slightly adjust the position of the leg fittings on the tabletop. Use a power drill to carefully enlarge the pre-drilled holes if necessary.
4. Apply a small amount of wood glue to the leg fittings before securing them to the tabletop for added stability.
Take your time and double-check the alignment before fully tightening the connections. If you continue to have issues, please let me know and I'll try to provide further assistance
