The melamine table top is moisture resistant, stain resistant and easy to keep clean.
You can create a bigger table by placing two or more MELLTORP tables next to each other. You can for instance place a small MELLTORP table next to a larger one.
The table is very sturdy thanks to the metal frame.
You can stack the chairs, so they take less space when you're not using them.
You can start using the chair immediately because it comes assembled.

Answered on Oct 03, 2023You can certainly attach a tablecloth to the MELLTORP table. The best way would be to use tablecloth clips or weights around the edges to securely hold the cloth in place. Avoid using anything that could damage the melamine table top, such as tape or adhesives. The smooth, moisture-resistant surface should allow a tablecloth to lay flat without slipping. Just be mindful not to use a cloth that is too large, as it could hang over the edges and potentially get caught on the chair legs. With the right size tablecloth and some simple clips or weights, you can easily dress up the MELLTORP table

Posted on Jun 14, 2023I purchased a Melltorp table and Janinge chairs, but I'm having trouble getting the chairs to fit snugly under the table. They seem to be a bit loose. Are there any adjustments or tweaks that I can make to ensure a tighter fit?
