You can easily adjust the height of the desk between 27½" and 47¼" by just cranking the handle and get the best position for both sitting and standing.
Changing positions between sitting and standing helps you move your body so you both feel and work better.
The neutral beige color is kind to your eyes when you work on your laptop since it makes the contrasts softer between the screen and tabletop.
Comfortable for left- and right-handers, as the crank handle can be mounted on the left or right side.
The crank handle slides in under the table top when not in use for a clean, uncluttered look.
Adjustable feet make the desk stand steady also on uneven floors.
Changing positions from sitting to standing is good for you, and the crank handle allows you to work your arms while adjusting the height. Moving your body makes you both feel and work better.

Posted on Feb 22, 2023I'm having trouble with the desk's adjustable height mechanism. The crank handle is stuck and I can't adjust it anymore. Are there any troubleshooting steps I can try to fix this issue?

Answered on Feb 24, 2023To troubleshoot the stuck crank handle on the TROTTEN Desk, you can try the following steps:
1. Check for any obstructions: Ensure that there are no objects or debris interfering with the movement of the crank handle. Gently move the handle back and forth to see if it can be loosened.
2. Lubricate the mechanism: Apply a small amount of a lightweight, silicone-based lubricant to the gears and moving parts of the height adjustment mechanism. This can help reduce friction and allow the handle to move more freely.
3. Inspect the crank handle: Ensure that the crank handle is properly attached to the height adjustment mechanism. Check for any signs of damage or wear on the handle itself.
4. Check the height adjustment mechanism: Examine the internal components of the height adjustment mechanism for any signs of damage or wear. If the mechanism appears to be malfunctioning, you may need to contact IKEA for further assistance.
If these troubleshooting steps do not resolve the issue, it's recommended to contact IKEA's customer service for further guidance and potential warranty coverage

Posted on Dec 20, 2022I have been using the TROTTEN desk for a while now, and I love how easily adjustable it is! However, after some time of use, the crank handle has started to feel a bit stiff when adjusting the height. Is there any maintenance or lubrication that can be done to keep the mechanism smooth and easy to operate?
