Part of the Nytillverkad collection where several IKEA classics have been given a new look.
LÖVBACKEN side table was launched in 1956 and was then called LÖVET. It was also one of the first products that you had to assemble yourself.
The veneered surface is durable, stain resistant and easy to keep clean.
The table can be moved across the floor without worry because the plastic feet protect against scratching.
When this side table was launched in our catalogue in 1956, Ingvar Kamprad described it as "a lovely little thing, in ultra-modern design". In the Nytillverkad collection, this IKEA icon has new colors.

Posted on May 04, 2023I'd like to know if the LÖVBACKEN side table can be used as a bedside table, considering its height and weight capacity. Also, are there any specific assembly instructions or recommendations for this product?

Posted on Apr 10, 2023I received my LÖVBACKEN side table and I love the new light green color! However, one of the legs is slightly loose and doesn't fit snugly into the base. Is there a way to tighten it or should I contact IKEA customer service for assistance?

Answered on Apr 12, 2023To tighten the loose leg on your LÖVBACKEN side table, you can try the following:
1. Locate the pre-drilled hole in the leg that attaches to the base.
2. Use an Allen wrench or hex key to tighten the screw in the pre-drilled hole. Turn the screw clockwise to tighten it.
3. Check that the leg is now secured firmly in the base. If it's still loose, you may need to tighten the screw a bit more.
If you're unable to get the leg tightened securely, or if you notice any other issues with the table, I'd recommend contacting IKEA customer service. They can provide further assistance and may be able to send replacement parts if needed
