Posted on Sep 10, 2023I've assembled my MAMMUT children's table, but I'm having trouble getting the legs to stay in place. The screws don't seem to be going in all the way. How can I tighten them properly?

Answered on Sep 12, 2023The issue you're experiencing with the MAMMUT children's table legs not staying in place is likely due to the screws not being tightened properly. Here are the steps to properly tighten the legs:
1. Ensure all the screw holes are properly aligned before attempting to insert the screws.
2. Use the Allen key provided in the assembly hardware to slowly and firmly tighten each screw. Make sure not to overtighten.
3. Go around and check each screw, tightening them evenly until the legs are securely in place.
4. Once all screws are tightened, give the table a gentle shake to ensure the legs are stable and do not wobble.
If you continue to have issues getting the screws to stay in place, double-check that you have all the correct hardware and that the pre-drilled holes are not damaged. With a little patience, you should be able to get the MAMMUT table assembled securely

Posted on Oct 30, 2022I purchased this table a few months ago and the legs have started to come loose, even though I followed the assembly instructions carefully.
Is there a way to tighten them or is it possible that there was an issue with the manufacturing process?
Kenzo @ EasyRebuild
Answered on Nov 01, 2022The loose legs on your MAMMUT Children's table are likely due to normal wear and tear over time. To tighten the legs, you can try the following:
1. Locate the screws or bolts that connect the legs to the tabletop. These may have become loosened over time with use.
2. Using the appropriate tools, tighten the screws or bolts firmly. Be careful not to overtighten, as this could damage the table.
3. If the screw holes have become enlarged or the legs are still loose after tightening, you may need to use wood glue or furniture adhesive to help secure the legs in place.
4. Ensure all the components are properly aligned and clicked together during reassembly. This will help maintain the stability of the table.
If the issue persists or you suspect a manufacturing defect, I recommend contacting IKEA customer service. They should be able to provide further guidance or a replacement part if needed
