Posted on Jul 31, 2022I'm interested in the SKOGSTA dining set, but I have a concern about the acacia wood finish. You mention that it slightly darkens with age, but I'd like to know if this means the entire table and chairs will turn a darker brown color over time?
Are there any areas where the finish might be more prone to darkening, such as the legs or edges of the table?

Answered on Aug 02, 2022The acacia wood on the SKOGSTA dining set will develop a slightly darker, richer brown color over time as it ages. This darkening will occur across the entire table and chair surfaces, including the legs and edges. The wood grain and natural variations in the acacia will become more pronounced as the color deepens. However, the change will be gradual and even, so you shouldn't see any isolated areas that darken significantly faster than others.
