Answered on Feb 14, 2024The DOCKSTA / LUSTEBO table is not designed to be extended or expanded. It is a fixed-size round table with a diameter of 40 1/2 inches (103 cm). There are no extension leaves or other mechanisms to increase the table's size. If you have a larger family and need more seating space, your best option would be to consider a different IKEA dining table model that is available in larger sizes or can accommodate extension leaves

Posted on Jan 29, 2024I recently purchased the DOCKSTA / LUSTEBO table and chairs, but I'm having trouble with one of the chair legs. The leg keeps coming loose and falling off. How do I tighten or fix this issue?
Alice @ EasyRebuild
Answered on Jan 31, 2024To fix the issue with the loose chair leg, you'll need to tighten the leg properly. First, ensure that the leg is properly aligned and inserted into the chair frame. Then, use a wrench or pliers to firmly tighten the bolt that secures the leg in place. Make sure to tighten it securely, but be careful not to overtighten, as that could strip the threads. If the bolt seems worn or damaged, you may need to replace it. Once the leg is tightened, test it to ensure it is stable and does not come loose again. If the issue persists, you may need to contact IKEA for further assistance

Answered on Jun 29, 2022To remove the chair covers for cleaning and machine washing:
1. Locate the zipper or fastener on the underside of the chair seat.
2. Carefully unzip or unfasten the cover to detach it from the chair frame.
3. Check the care label for any specific washing instructions. Generally, the covers can be machine washed in cold water on a gentle cycle.
4. Avoid using bleach or fabric softeners, as these can damage the fabric.
5. Tumble dry the covers on a low heat setting or air dry them to prevent shrinkage.
6. Once clean and dry, simply reattach the covers by zipping or fastening them back onto the chair frame.
Be gentle when removing and reattaching the covers to avoid any damage to the fabric or fasteners. With proper care, the chair covers should maintain their look and feel
