Posted on Mar 12, 2024I have a Vittsjo shelving unit with laptop table, but the top panel keeps falling off. Is there an easy way to reattach it or do I need to use a different type of adhesive?

Answered on Mar 14, 2024The top panel on the VITTSJÖ shelving unit with laptop table can sometimes become loose or detached. To reattach it, you can try the following:
First, ensure that the surfaces are clean and free of any dust or debris. Then, apply a small amount of wood glue or a strong adhesive like super glue to the underside of the top panel. Carefully align the panel and press it firmly into place on the frame.
Alternatively, you can use the included screws to secure the top panel. Simply line up the pre-drilled holes in the panel with the corresponding holes in the frame and tighten the screws. This will provide a more secure attachment.
If the panel continues to come loose, you may need to use a different type of adhesive, such as epoxy or construction adhesive, which will create a stronger bond. Be sure to follow the instructions on the adhesive packaging carefully

Posted on May 09, 2023I'm interested in buying this Vittsjö shelving unit, but I have a question about the stability of the unit. The floor where I plan to place it is not perfectly level, and I'm worried that the adjustable feet might not be enough to prevent the unit from tipping over. Do you have any recommendations for how to stabilize the unit further?

The unit has adjustable feet that allow you to level it on uneven floors. To mount it to the wall, you can use the included wall anchors and screws. Simply mark the wall where you want to place the unit, drill the appropriate holes, and then attach the shelving unit to the wall using the provided hardware.
