Posted on Sep 06, 2023I have an Ingeatorp extendable table and I'm having trouble getting the self-storing leaf to fit properly when extending the table. Are there any specific tips or tricks for ensuring a smooth and easy extension?

Answered on Sep 08, 2023To ensure a smooth and easy extension of the INGATORP extendable table, here are a few tips:
1. Make sure the table is placed on a level surface. This will help the self-storing leaf slide in and out smoothly.
2. Gently pull the table top apart to create the space for the leaf. Avoid forcing it, as this could damage the mechanism.
3. Carefully insert the leaf, ensuring it aligns properly with the table top. You may need to adjust the position slightly for a seamless fit.
4. Once the leaf is in place, slowly close the table top, allowing the leaf to retract and lock into position.
5. If you're still having trouble, check that the leaf is not obstructed by any debris or damage to the table's mechanism. Gently clean the area if needed.
With a little care and attention, you should be able to extend and retract the INGATORP table with ease

Posted on Jun 10, 2023How do I remove the self-storing leaf from the table?
It seems to be stuck and won't come out
Alice @ EasyRebuild
Answered on Jun 12, 2023To remove the self-storing leaf from the INGATORP extendable table:
1. Ensure the table is in the extended position with the leaf inserted.
2. Locate the small levers or release mechanisms on the underside of the table, usually near the edges.
3. Gently pull or press these levers to disengage the leaf from the table frame.
4. Once the levers are released, the leaf should slide out smoothly from the table.
5. If the leaf is still stuck, try gently rocking it back and forth while pulling to ease it out.
If you are still having trouble removing the leaf, double-check that the release mechanisms are fully disengaged. Avoid forcing the leaf, as this could damage the table. Contact IKEA customer service if you need further assistance
