Answered on Apr 14, 2023To reattach or replace the peeling fabric on the Stensele/Månhult chairs, you can follow these steps:
1. Carefully remove the existing fabric by gently peeling it off the chair seat. Try to remove as much of the old fabric as possible.
2. Clean the chair seat surface to remove any remaining adhesive or fabric remnants. Use a mild cleaning solution and a soft cloth.
3. Measure the chair seat and purchase replacement fabric that is the correct size. Look for upholstery-grade fabric that is durable and easy to work with.
4. Apply a thin layer of upholstery adhesive to the chair seat surface. Carefully position the new fabric and press it firmly into place, smoothing out any wrinkles or bubbles.
5. Trim any excess fabric around the edges of the chair seat, leaving a small amount to fold and tuck under the seat.
6. Allow the adhesive to fully dry according to the manufacturer's instructions before using the chair.
With some basic upholstery skills, you should be able to successfully reattach or replace the fabric on your Stensele/Månhult chairs

Posted on Jul 07, 2022I recently purchased the STENSELE / MÅNHULT Table and 2 chairs, but I'm having trouble with one of the chair legs not sitting flat on the floor. It seems to be slightly wobbly. Is there a way to adjust or fix this issue?

Answered on Jul 09, 2022To fix the wobbly chair leg, you can try the following steps:
1. Ensure all the chair legs are tightened properly. Use the Allen key provided in the assembly instructions to tighten the leg bolts.
2. Check if the floor surface is level. If the floor is uneven, you can try placing small shims or pieces of cardboard under the shorter leg to level it.
3. If the leg is still wobbly, you may need to adjust the leveling glide on that leg. Locate the small plastic or metal leveling glide at the bottom of the leg. Turn it clockwise to extend it and counterclockwise to retract it, adjusting until the leg is stable and the chair sits flat on the floor.
4. As a last resort, you can contact IKEA customer service to request a replacement part for the wobbly leg if the adjustments do not resolve the issue

Answered on Jun 28, 2022The HAKEBO cover on the chair can be cleaned by hand washing with a mild detergent. It is not recommended to machine wash the cover as this could damage the fabric. To clean, use a soft cloth or sponge and mild, lukewarm soapy water. Avoid using harsh chemicals or scrubbing the fabric too vigorously. Once cleaned, allow the cover to air dry completely before placing it back on the chair. This will help maintain the soft, smooth texture of the HAKEBO fabric
