Posted on Nov 22, 2023I love my Segerön/Väsmann outdoor furniture set! However, I have a concern about the chair's resilience. Over time, some of the chairs have become less springy and now feel slightly flat. Is it possible to replace or recharge the springs in these chairs?

Answered on Nov 24, 2023The chairs in the SEGERÖN / VÄSMAN set use a resilient material in the seat and back rather than traditional springs. Over time, this material can lose some of its flexibility, causing the chairs to feel less springy. Unfortunately, there is no way to replace or recharge the resilient material in these chairs. The best solution would be to replace the affected chairs with new ones from the SEGERÖN / VÄSMAN set. IKEA does sell replacement chairs individually, so you can purchase just the chairs that need to be replaced rather than the entire set
