I'm having issues with the sit/stand mechanism not staying stable when transitioning between sitting and standing positions. The desk seems to wobble or shake slightly. Have I received a faulty product, or is there something wrong with my usage? What can I do to troubleshoot this issue or obtain a replacement if necessary?

The issue you're experiencing with the sit/stand mechanism not staying stable is likely due to the desk not being properly leveled. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:

1. Ensure the desk is placed on a flat, level surface. Uneven floors can cause the desk to wobble.

2. Check that all the screws and bolts are tightened securely, especially the ones connecting the legs to the desktop. Over time, these can become loose and cause instability.

3. Try adjusting the leveling feet at the bottom of the legs. Turn them clockwise to raise the leg and counterclockwise to lower it, until the desk is level and stable.

If these steps don't resolve the issue, the desk may be defective and you should contact IKEA customer service to request a replacement under the 10-year limited warranty. They will be able to assist you further
