A stable construction in solid wood and hardwood veneer that makes each table unique, with varying grain patterns and natural color shifts that are part of the charm of wood.
The self-storing leaves are easy to insert to extend the table from 4 to 6 and it is just as easy to remove and tuck away under the table top when your guests have gone home.
The extension leaves increases the overhang at each end of the table creating generous space for two more people at the short ends.

Posted on Apr 05, 2024I have the Nordviken/Bergmund table with chairs and I am having trouble getting the self-storing leaves to stay in place when extended. Can you provide some tips or a video on how to properly insert and secure them?

Answered on Apr 07, 2024To properly insert and secure the self-storing leaves for the NORDVIKEN / BERGMUND table:
1. Ensure the table is on a level surface and the legs are fully extended.
2. Locate the storage compartment under the tabletop where the leaves are stored.
3. Gently pull out one of the leaves, taking care not to force it.
4. Align the leaf with the corresponding slots on the table frame and slowly lower it into place. You may need to wiggle it slightly to get it to fully lock in.
5. Repeat the process for the second leaf, making sure both are securely inserted.
6. To retract the leaves, simply lift them up and fold them back into the storage compartment under the table.
If you're still having trouble getting the leaves to stay in place, ensure there is no debris or obstruction in the slots. You can also try adjusting the leveling feet to ensure the table is perfectly level before inserting the leaves

Posted on Oct 28, 2023I have noticed that the chair legs are made of solid wood, which is a durable natural material. However, I have found some scratches on the legs after only a few months of use. Is there any way to restore the original finish or do you recommend applying a new coat of varnish?
