Posted on Feb 03, 2024I received the Mörlbylånga table and Grönsta chairs, but I noticed that the legs of the chairs are not aligned with the table's edges. Are there any adjustments or shims available to level out the chairs?

Answered on Feb 05, 2024To level out the chairs and align them with the table's edges, you can try the following:
1. Check if the table legs are adjustable. Many IKEA table models have leveling feet or adjustable legs that can be turned to level the table.
2. If the table legs are not adjustable, you can try placing small shims or spacers under the shorter table legs to level the surface.
3. For the chairs, check if they have adjustable glides or feet at the bottom of the legs. Twist or adjust these to level each chair individually and align them with the table.
4. If the chair legs are not adjustable, you can try placing small felt pads or furniture sliders under the shorter chair legs to raise them up and level the chairs.
Make small adjustments gradually until the chairs are aligned properly with the table edges. This should help resolve the issue with the chair and table alignment

Posted on Jun 09, 2023I am trying to assemble the Mörlånga table and Grönsta chairs. However, I am having trouble with one of the chair legs not fitting properly into its socket. The leg keeps falling out of the socket. What could be the cause of this issue? Is it possible that there is a problem with the socket or the leg itself?

Answered on Jun 11, 2023The issue with the chair leg not fitting properly into the socket could be due to a few possible reasons:
1. The leg or the socket may not be properly aligned. Ensure that the leg is inserted into the socket at the correct angle and that there are no obstructions preventing a secure fit.
2. The leg or the socket may be damaged. Inspect both the leg and the socket for any cracks, chips, or deformities that could be preventing a tight fit.
3. The hardware (screws, bolts, etc.) securing the leg to the chair may be loose or missing. Tighten any loose hardware to ensure a secure connection.
4. The pre-drilled holes in the chair frame may not be the correct size or alignment for the leg. This could cause the leg to not fit properly.
To resolve the issue, I would recommend carefully inspecting the leg and socket, tightening any hardware, and ensuring proper alignment. If the problem persists, you may need to contact IKEA for further assistance

Posted on Apr 19, 2023I'm interested in purchasing the Mörbylånga / Grönsta table and chairs set, but I have a specific question regarding the assembly of the chairs. Can you please provide instructions or guidance on how to attach the chair legs to the seat frame?
Are there any specific tools required for this process?
Kenzo @ EasyRebuild
Answered on Apr 21, 2023To attach the chair legs to the seat frame, you will need a hammer and a rubber mallet. First, locate the pre-drilled holes on the underside of the chair seat. Align the chair leg with the corresponding hole and gently tap the leg into place using the rubber mallet. Avoid using excessive force, as this could damage the chair components. Once all four legs are secured, double-check that they are firmly attached and the chair is stable. No additional tools should be required for this assembly step.
