Posted on Feb 16, 2024I am trying to assemble the Mörlbylånga/Lillåns chair, but I am having trouble attaching the legs to the seat. The instructions are unclear and the holes don't seem to align properly. Can you provide more detailed instructions or a video tutorial on how to attach the legs?

Answered on Feb 18, 2024To attach the legs to the seat on the MÖRBYLÅNGA / LILLÅNÄS chair, please follow these steps:
1. Ensure you have all the necessary hardware, including the chair legs, screws, and any other required fittings.
2. Carefully align the chair leg with the pre-drilled holes on the underside of the seat. The legs should fit snugly into the holes.
3. Use the screws provided to securely fasten the leg to the seat. Make sure to tighten the screws fully, but do not overtighten.
4. Repeat this process for each of the remaining legs, ensuring they are all properly aligned and tightened.
5. Once all four legs are attached, gently flip the chair over and check that it is stable and level on the floor.
If you continue to have trouble with the alignment, please double-check that you are using the correct hardware and that the pre-drilled holes are not obstructed. A video tutorial may also be available on the IKEA website or YouTube that could provide additional visual guidance

1. For the oak veneer table surface, use a soft, damp cloth to gently wipe away any dirt or debris. Avoid using harsh cleaners or abrasives, as they can damage the wood finish.
2. To help protect the table surface and prevent further scratches, you can apply a small amount of furniture polish or wood conditioner. Apply it evenly with a clean, soft cloth, and buff it lightly.
3. For the chrome-plated chair legs, use a mild soap and water solution. Dip a soft, damp cloth into the solution and wipe the legs gently. Avoid submerging the legs in water.
4. Dry the chair legs thoroughly with a clean, dry cloth to prevent water spots.
