I have the Bestå storage combination with drawers in white stained oak effect, but I noticed that one of the drawers is not opening smoothly. The drawer catches on the frame as I try to open it. What could be causing this issue?

Answered on May 28, 2023The total weight capacity for the BESTÅ storage combination is not 88 lbs (40 kg). According to the product description:
- The maximum load per drawer is 22 lbs (10 kg).
- The maximum load per shelf is 44 lbs (20 kg).
Since there are two drawers and three shelves, the total weight capacity would be:
2 drawers x 22 lbs = 44 lbs
3 shelves x 44 lbs = 132 lbs
Therefore, the total recommended weight capacity for this BESTÅ storage combination is 132 lbs (60 kg)
