Posted on Jun 28, 2022I'm having trouble opening one of the drawers. The push opener seems to be stuck and I can't get it to open. What could be causing this issue?
Is there a trick to getting it unstuck or do I need to contact customer support?

Answered on Jun 30, 2022The push opener on the drawer may be stuck due to a few possible reasons:
1. Debris or obstructions: Over time, small debris or dirt can accumulate around the push opener mechanism, causing it to stick. Try gently wiping around the push opener with a clean, dry cloth to remove any buildup.
2. Misalignment: If the drawer is not properly aligned in the frame, the push opener mechanism may not be engaging correctly. Try gently adjusting the drawer by moving it back and forth to see if that frees up the push opener.
3. Mechanical issue: There could be an internal issue with the push opener mechanism itself. In this case, you may need to contact IKEA customer support for further assistance. They will be able to provide guidance on troubleshooting or arranging a repair.
Before contacting support, I'd recommend trying the above steps to see if you can get the push opener unstuck on your own. If the issue persists, reaching out to IKEA customer service would be the best next step
