Posted on Nov 25, 2023I am trying to assemble the BESTÅ storage combination, but I'm having trouble with the hinges. Can you please provide more detailed instructions on how to adjust the hinges horizontally and vertically?

Answered on Nov 27, 2023To adjust the hinges on the BESTÅ storage combination horizontally and vertically:
1. Loosen the screw on the hinge plate that is attached to the cabinet frame. This will allow you to adjust the door left or right.
2. To adjust the door up or down, locate the adjustment screw on the hinge itself. Turn this screw clockwise to move the door up, and counterclockwise to move it down.
3. Once the door is positioned properly, tighten the screw on the hinge plate to secure the adjustment.
4. Repeat these steps for each hinge on the door until the door is aligned correctly within the cabinet frame.
Remember to make only small adjustments at a time and test the door movement after each adjustment. Take your time to ensure the door is properly aligned and operates smoothly

Posted on Jul 04, 2022I purchased the BESTÅ storage combination and noticed that one of the drawers is not closing properly. It seems to be a bit off-track and doesn't align with the other drawer. How can I adjust the track or fix this issue?

Answered on Jul 06, 2022To adjust the drawer that is not closing properly, you can try the following steps:
1. First, fully open the drawer that is not aligning correctly.
2. Locate the adjustment screws on the drawer slide. There are usually two screws on each side of the drawer slide.
3. Using a screwdriver, turn the adjustment screws clockwise or counterclockwise to move the drawer horizontally and vertically until it aligns properly with the other drawer.
4. Once the drawer is aligned, close it slowly to check if it is now closing smoothly.
5. If needed, make additional small adjustments to the screws until the drawer is properly aligned and closes without any issues.
Remember to make only small adjustments at a time, checking the drawer after each adjustment. With a bit of fine-tuning, you should be able to get the drawer back on track and closing properly
