Posted on Dec 14, 2023I have a BESTÅ storage combination with drawers and I'm having trouble opening the doors. They seem to be stuck or jammed. Are there any tips or tricks to help me loosen them up?

Answered on Dec 16, 2023The issue with the stuck or jammed doors on your BESTÅ storage combination is likely due to the hinges needing adjustment. The BESTÅ features adjustable hinges that allow you to adjust the door horizontally and vertically. To fix this:
1. First, locate the adjustment screws on the hinges. There are usually two screws per hinge.
2. Using a screwdriver, try loosening the screws slightly. This will allow you to reposition the door.
3. Gently push or pull the door to realign it in the frame. You may need to adjust the screws incrementally until the door opens and closes smoothly.
4. Once the door is properly aligned, tighten the hinge screws back up to secure the adjustment.
If the doors are still sticking after adjusting the hinges, check that the shelves and drawers are not overloaded, as this can also cause binding. Ensure the unit is level on the adjustable feet as well. With a bit of fine-tuning, you should be able to get your BESTÅ doors operating smoothly again
