Posted on Dec 23, 2022I'm trying to assemble the BESTÅ storage combination with doors and I have a problem with one of the shelves. The shelf won't fit properly into the frame because it's slightly warped. What can I do to fix this issue?

Answered on Dec 25, 2022To fix a slightly warped shelf in the BESTÅ storage combination, here are a few steps you can try:
1. Carefully remove the shelf from the frame. Lay it on a flat surface and gently press down on the warped area to try and straighten it out.
2. If the shelf is still not sitting flush, try placing it in a warm, dry area for a few hours. The heat can help relax the material and reduce the warp.
3. As a last resort, you can try lightly sanding down the high spots on the shelf to even out the surface. Be careful not to remove too much material.
4. Once the shelf is flat, slowly reinsert it into the frame, making sure it clicks securely into place.
If the shelf remains significantly warped after these steps, you may need to order a replacement shelf from IKEA to properly fit the storage unit
