Answered on Apr 04, 2023To adjust the door alignment on your BESTÅ storage combination:
1. First, ensure the cabinet is level and secure on the wall. Use the adjustable feet to level it if needed.
2. Next, locate the adjustment screws on the hinges. There are typically 3 adjustment points - one to adjust the door horizontally, one for vertical adjustment, and one for depth adjustment.
3. Use a screwdriver to turn the adjustment screws as needed. Turning the screws clockwise will move the door in that direction, while counterclockwise will move it the opposite way.
4. Make small adjustments at a time, testing the door movement after each adjustment. This will allow you to get the door aligned properly without going too far in one direction.
5. Once the door is aligned, you can also adjust the soft-close mechanism by turning the adjustment screw on the hinge. This will allow you to customize the closing speed to your preference.
