Posted on Nov 25, 2022I have just moved into a new home and I am planning to install the Bestå storage combination. However, I notice that there are some scratches on the door panels. Is it possible to replace only the door panels or do I need to replace the entire unit?

Answered on Nov 27, 2022The good news is that you can replace just the door panels without needing to replace the entire Bestå storage combination unit. The doors on the Bestå series are designed to be easily removable and replaceable.
To replace the door panels:
1. Detach the hinges from the door panels by unscrewing them. This will allow you to remove the existing door panels.
2. Purchase replacement door panels from IKEA that are compatible with the Bestå frame. Make sure to get the correct size and color to match your existing unit.
3. Attach the new door panels by screwing the hinges back into place. The adjustable hinges will allow you to properly align the new doors.
This is a straightforward process that will let you refresh the look of your Bestå storage without having to replace the entire unit. Just be sure to order the right replacement door panels and you'll have your storage looking good as new
