Posted on Oct 17, 2022I love my new BESTÅ storage combination! However, the doors are a bit tricky to close properly. Is there any trick or adjustment I can make to ensure they close smoothly and silently?

Answered on Oct 19, 2022The doors on your BESTÅ storage combination have adjustable hinges that allow you to fine-tune the alignment and closing mechanism. Here are the steps to adjust the doors for smooth and silent closing:
1. First, check that the doors are properly aligned. Loosen the hinge screws slightly and shift the door left/right or up/down as needed to get it centered in the opening.
2. Next, adjust the tightness of the hinges. Turn the adjustment screws on the hinges clockwise to tighten, and counterclockwise to loosen the door. This will affect how much force is required to open and close the door.
3. Lastly, engage the soft-closing mechanism by adjusting the small screws on the hinges. Turn them clockwise to increase the soft-closing effect.
Make small adjustments and test the door closing after each one. With some fine-tuning, you should be able to get the doors closing smoothly and silently. Let me know if you have any other questions
