Answered on Nov 23, 2022To adjust the hinges on your BESTÅ storage unit so the doors close smoothly and evenly, follow these steps:
1. Locate the adjustment screws on the hinges. There are typically 2-3 adjustment screws per hinge.
2. Using a screwdriver, turn the adjustment screws clockwise or counterclockwise to move the door horizontally, vertically, or in/out as needed.
3. Adjust one hinge at a time, making small incremental changes. Check the door alignment after each adjustment.
4. Continue adjusting the hinges until the doors are aligned and close properly. You may need to adjust multiple hinges to get the perfect fit.
5. Once the doors are aligned, you can also adjust the soft-close function by turning the relevant screws on the hinges.
