Posted on Sep 27, 2022I'm having trouble installing the BESTÅ storage combination. The door hinges don't seem to be aligning properly, and I'm having trouble adjusting them. Is there a specific technique or trick to getting them to fit correctly?

Answered on Sep 29, 2022The door hinges on the BESTÅ storage combination can be adjusted to align them properly. Here are the steps to adjust the hinges:
1. First, make sure the doors are fully closed. This will ensure the hinges are in the correct starting position.
2. Locate the adjustment screws on the hinges. There are usually two - one for horizontal adjustment and one for vertical adjustment.
3. To adjust the horizontal position, turn the horizontal adjustment screw clockwise to move the door inward, or counterclockwise to move it outward.
4. For vertical adjustment, turn the vertical adjustment screw clockwise to move the door up, or counterclockwise to move it down.
5. Make small adjustments, testing the door after each turn of the screws. Go slowly and make minor changes until the door is aligned properly.
6. Once the door is in the correct position, tighten all the screws securely to lock the hinges in place.
