Posted on Jan 10, 2024I am looking for a new glass insert for my BESTÅ storage combination. Can you please provide me with the correct replacement part number and any additional information on how to order it?
Alice @ EasyRebuild
Answered on Jan 12, 2024The correct replacement part number for the glass insert is 203.162.25. This is the part number for the Glassvik glass door that is 23 5/8x25 1/4 inches in size. To order the replacement, you can visit the IKEA website or an IKEA store and provide this part number. The glass insert is designed to fit the BESTÅ storage combination you described. Make sure to measure the existing opening to ensure the replacement part will fit properly. Installing the new glass insert should be straightforward, but you may want to refer to the assembly instructions for guidance

Answered on Sep 28, 2023To align the doors properly when adjusting the hinges, here are the steps to follow:
1. First, loosen the screws on the hinges slightly to allow for adjustment.
2. Gently push or pull the door to align it horizontally. You can adjust the position left or right as needed.
3. Once the horizontal alignment is correct, you can adjust the door vertically by turning the adjustment screws on the hinges. Turn the screws clockwise to raise the door, and counterclockwise to lower it.
4. Check the gap between the doors and make sure they are even all the way around. Make any final adjustments as needed.
5. Once the doors are properly aligned, tighten the hinge screws back up to secure the adjustments.
Take your time and make small adjustments until the doors are perfectly aligned. This may require some trial and error, but following these steps should help you get the BESTÅ storage combination doors looking seamless

Answered on Mar 09, 2023To adjust the doors on your BESTÅ storage combination and align them properly, follow these steps:
1. Locate the adjustment screws on the hinges. There are typically two adjustment screws - one for horizontal adjustment and one for vertical adjustment.
2. Using a screwdriver, turn the horizontal adjustment screw clockwise to move the door inward or counterclockwise to move the door outward. This will help align the door horizontally.
3. For vertical adjustment, turn the vertical adjustment screw clockwise to move the door up or counterclockwise to move the door down. This will help align the door vertically.
4. Make small adjustments at a time and check the alignment after each adjustment. Repeat steps 2 and 3 as needed until the door is properly aligned.
5. Once the door is aligned, ensure all screws are tightened securely to maintain the adjustment.
