Adjustable hinges allow you to adjust the door horizontally and vertically.
The drawers close silently and softly, thanks to the integrated soft-closing function.
The shelves are adjustable so you can customize your storage as needed.
Two drawers make it easy to keep your belongings organized. The shelves behind the doors give you even more storage space.
Optimize and organize your BESTÅ storage with boxes and inserts that you like.
Go ahead and put things aside for a while! A sideboard combination gives you plenty of space to store things and a surface to create an attractive display - or to unload serving dishes while you eat.

Posted on Apr 03, 2023I recently purchased this BESTÅ storage combination, and I'm having trouble closing the doors. The soft-closing function seems to be malfunctioning, causing the doors to slam shut instead of closing softly. Have you had any similar issues with this product? Is there a way to troubleshoot or repair this problem?

Answered on Apr 05, 2023The soft-closing function on the BESTÅ storage combination doors can sometimes malfunction, causing the doors to slam shut instead of closing softly. This is a common issue that can often be resolved with a few simple troubleshooting steps:
First, check that the hinges are properly adjusted. The hinges on the BESTÅ allow you to adjust the doors horizontally and vertically. If the hinges are not properly aligned, it can prevent the soft-closing mechanism from working correctly. Try adjusting the hinges to see if that resolves the issue.
If the hinges are properly aligned, the next step is to check the soft-closing mechanism itself. Over time, the mechanism can become worn or obstructed, preventing it from functioning as intended. You may need to replace the soft-closing mechanism to fix the problem.
Replacement parts and instructions for repairing the soft-closing function are available from IKEA. With a bit of troubleshooting and a replacement part if needed, you should be able to get your BESTÅ storage combination doors closing softly again

Answered on Feb 27, 2023The issue with the drawer not closing properly is likely due to the drawer being misaligned. Here are the steps to adjust the drawer:
1. First, fully open the drawer that is sticking.
2. Locate the two adjustment screws on the drawer front. These are typically located on the sides of the drawer front.
3. Using a screwdriver, turn the adjustment screws clockwise or counterclockwise to shift the drawer front left, right, up or down until it aligns properly and closes smoothly.
4. Test the drawer to ensure it opens and closes easily without sticking.
5. If needed, make additional small adjustments to the screws until the drawer operates correctly.
The soft-closing mechanism may also need to be adjusted if the drawer is still not closing properly. Refer to the IKEA instructions for guidance on adjusting the soft-close function.
Let me know if this helps resolve the issue with the sticking drawer. I'm happy to provide any other troubleshooting tips
