1. FIXA Wall fastener set: This set includes longer screws and wall plugs that can accommodate walls up to 1.2" (3 cm) thick. You can purchase this separately from IKEA.
2. BESTÅ Wall bracket: This is an additional wall bracket that can be used in combination with the included wall rails to provide extra support for thicker walls. The wall bracket can handle walls up to 1.6" (4 cm) thick.
3. BESTÅ Wall upright: As an alternative to the wall rails, you can use the BESTÅ wall upright which is designed for walls up to 1.2" (3 cm) thick.

Answered on Sep 09, 2022To adjust the shelves on your BESTÅ Wall-mounted cabinet combination:
1. Remove the doors by opening them fully and lifting them off the hinges.
2. Locate the shelf pins that are holding the shelves in place. These are small plastic pegs inserted into holes on the sides of the cabinet frame.
3. Gently pull out the shelf pins to release the shelf. Be careful not to lose them.
4. Reposition the shelf to the desired height, lining up the holes in the cabinet frame.
5. Firmly push the shelf pins back into the holes to secure the shelf in place.
6. Repeat steps 3-5 for any other shelves you want to adjust.
7. Once all shelves are positioned, reattach the doors.
