Posted on Apr 10, 2023I have an issue with the armchairs, the elastic strap that secures the cushion to the chair is loose and keeps coming undone.
Is there a way to tighten it or replace it?

Answered on Apr 12, 2023The elastic strap that secures the cushion to the chair can be tightened if it has become loose over time. Here are the steps to tighten the strap:
1. Locate the plastic pin at the end of the elastic strap that goes through the loop on the cushion.
2. Gently pull the plastic pin out of the loop.
3. Wrap the elastic strap around the chair frame a few more times to shorten its length.
4. Re-insert the plastic pin through the loop to secure the cushion in place.
This should tighten the strap and prevent it from coming undone. If the strap is damaged or worn out, you can also purchase replacement straps from IKEA to fully replace it

It's recommended to avoid using bleach or fabric softener, as these can damage the water-repellent coating on the fabric. After washing, allow the cushion covers to air dry completely before putting them back on the cushions
