Posted on Oct 09, 2022I've just noticed that the beige color on my Segerön sectional has faded significantly after being exposed to direct sunlight for a few months. Is there a way to restore the original color or can I use a specific cleaning product to maintain its appearance?

Answered on Oct 11, 2022To help restore the faded color on your SEGERÖN sectional, you can try the following:
The cushion covers are designed to be fade resistant, but prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can still cause the color to fade over time. To help revive the original color, you can try cleaning the cushion covers using a mild detergent and warm water. Gently scrub the covers to lift any dirt or grime, then rinse thoroughly.
Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these could further damage the fabric. Once cleaned, you can also try applying a fabric protector spray designed for outdoor furnishings. This can help repel UV rays and maintain the color.
If the fading is severe, you may need to replace the cushion covers entirely. The FRÖSÖN covers are sold separately and can be easily swapped out to give your SEGERÖN sectional a fresh new look
