Posted on Jan 28, 2024I've assembled the table and chairs, but I'm having trouble getting the legs of the chairs to stay on. The screws provided seem to be loose and the legs keep falling off. How can I tighten them securely?
Kenzo @ EasyRebuild
Answered on Jan 30, 2024To tighten the chair legs securely, you can try the following steps:
1. Ensure all screws are properly aligned and inserted into the designated holes on the chair frame.
2. Use a screwdriver to firmly tighten each screw, turning it clockwise until it is snug. Do not overtighten as this can strip the screw threads.
3. If the screw holes seem worn or enlarged, you can try using wood glue or furniture adhesive to help the screws grip better. Allow the glue to fully dry before retightening the screws.
4. As an extra precaution, you can also apply a small amount of thread locking compound to the screw threads before inserting them. This will help prevent the screws from loosening over time.
5. Double-check all the screws periodically and retighten as needed to maintain a secure connection between the chair legs and frame

Posted on Nov 26, 2022I recently purchased the NÄMMARÖ Table + 4 reclining chairs, outdoor, light brown stained. However, I noticed that one of the chair legs is slightly uneven and doesn't sit flat on the ground. Can you please advise me on how to fix this issue? Is there a specific type of screw or washer that can be used to level out the leg?
Alice @ EasyRebuild
Answered on Nov 28, 2022To fix the uneven chair leg on your NÄMMARÖ outdoor furniture set, you can try the following:
First, check if the leg is loose or if there is any play in the connection between the leg and the chair frame. Tighten any screws or bolts that may have become loose over time. This may help stabilize the leg and prevent it from wobbling.
If tightening the hardware doesn't solve the issue, you can try adjusting the leg itself. Look for any adjustable glides or levelers on the bottom of the chair leg. Gently turn or adjust these to raise or lower the leg as needed to level out the chair.
If your chair legs do not have any adjustable components, you can try placing a small plastic or rubber shim under the shorter leg to lift it up and level the chair. This is a quick and easy fix that doesn't require any tools.
Avoid using excessive force or making drastic adjustments, as this could damage the chair. With a little tinkering, you should be able to get your NÄMMARÖ chair sitting flat and stable on the ground
