Posted on Jan 21, 2024I have a question about the Nämmarö table + 4 reclining chairs. The wood stain seems to be peeling off in some areas, is this normal or is there something I can do to prevent it?

Posted on Feb 09, 2023I've just used my Nämärö table and chairs for the first time this spring and noticed that some of the wood parts are already showing signs of fading. Is there a recommended way to maintain or restore the wood's original color?

Answered on Feb 11, 2023To help maintain the original color and finish of your NÄMMARÖ outdoor furniture, I recommend the following:
Regularly clean the wood surfaces using a mild soap and water solution. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasives. After cleaning, you can apply a thin coat of outdoor wood stain or sealant specifically formulated for acacia wood. This will help protect the wood from fading due to sun exposure and weathering. Reapply the stain or sealant as needed, typically once or twice per year depending on the weather conditions in your area. With proper care and maintenance, you can help preserve the natural beauty of the acacia wood on your NÄMMARÖ set
