Posted on Jul 21, 2022I bought this set last year and it's been great, but I've started to notice that the cushions are getting a bit discolored in certain areas. Is there a specific cleaning product recommended for the NÄMMARÖ series? And is it possible to re-stain the wood if needed?

Answered on Jul 23, 2022For cleaning the cushions on the NÄMMARÖ outdoor furniture set, it's best to use a mild soap and water solution. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners as they can damage the water-repellent fabric. To clean, simply wipe the cushions down with a damp cloth and a small amount of mild liquid soap. Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry.
As for the wood, you can certainly re-stain it if needed. The acacia wood used in the NÄMMARÖ series is durable and can be refinished. First, lightly sand the surface to remove any existing discoloration or wear. Then, apply an outdoor wood stain or oil that is compatible with acacia. This will help restore the original color and protect the wood from further weathering. Be sure to follow the application instructions on the product you choose
