Posted on Mar 27, 2024I've been having trouble installing the Småstad wardrobe, and I'm not sure if the instructions are clear. Could you provide a step-by-step guide on how to assemble it? Specifically, I'm struggling with attaching the shelves to the frame.

Answered on Mar 29, 2024To attach the shelves to the frame of the SMÅSTAD wardrobe, follow these steps:
1. Locate the shelf brackets that came with the wardrobe. These are the metal pieces that will support the shelves.
2. Align the shelf brackets with the pre-drilled holes on the inside of the wardrobe frame. Make sure the brackets are level.
3. Secure the shelf brackets to the frame using the screws provided. Tighten the screws firmly but do not overtighten.
4. Place the shelves onto the brackets, making sure they are sitting evenly. You may need to adjust the bracket positions slightly to ensure a proper fit.
5. If the shelves feel unstable, you can use additional screws to further secure them to the brackets.

Posted on Oct 25, 2023I have the Småstad wardrobe and I'm having trouble opening the doors. The soft-closing hinges seem to be too stiff and it takes a lot of force to open them. Is there any way to adjust or lubricate the hinges to make it easier to open?
