Posted on Jun 04, 2023I have the Segerön table with armchairs and I'm having trouble getting the cushion covers off to wash them. Is there a trick or a specific technique to remove them without damaging the elastic straps or the chair?

Answered on Jun 06, 2023To remove the cushion covers on the SEGERÖN chairs without damaging the elastic straps or the chair, follow these steps:
1. Locate the plastic pin that secures the elastic strap to the chair. Gently pull out the pin to release the strap.
2. Once the strap is released, you can carefully lift off the seat cushion cover.
3. For the back cushion, look for any velcro or other fasteners securing the cover and detach them.
4. Avoid pulling or tugging on the covers, as this could damage the elastic straps. Instead, gently peel the covers off the cushions.
5. After washing, simply reverse the process to reattach the covers, making sure to secure the elastic straps back in place with the plastic pins.
Take your time and be gentle when removing the cushion covers to prevent any damage. The key is to focus on releasing the fasteners rather than pulling the covers off forcefully

Is it safe to machine wash it, or should I spot clean any stains instead?

Answered on Dec 03, 2022The cushion cover for the SEGERÖN armchair is designed to be machine washable. You can safely machine wash the cover to keep it clean and fresh. The cover is made of a fade-resistant and water-repellent material, so you can simply remove it from the chair and wash it in the washing machine. No need for spot cleaning - the entire cover can be machine washed. Just be sure to follow the care instructions on the label, such as using a gentle cycle and air drying, to ensure the cover retains its quality and appearance

Posted on Aug 30, 2022I'm having trouble getting the elastic strap to secure properly onto the chair cushion. It keeps coming undone. Is there a trick to tightening it or is there something I'm doing wrong?

Answered on Sep 01, 2022To securely attach the chair cushion to the chair using the elastic strap, try the following:
1. Make sure the plastic pin on the end of the strap is properly inserted through the loop on the cushion. It should click into place.
2. Pull the strap tight and ensure there is no slack. The strap should be taut against the cushion.
3. If the strap still feels loose, you can try wrapping it around the chair frame an extra time before securing the pin through the loop. This will create a tighter fit.
4. Adjust the length of the strap by sliding the plastic adjuster until you achieve the right tension to keep the cushion securely in place.
