Posted on Mar 19, 2024I have recently purchased the Tärnö table, and I'm having trouble with the folding mechanism. The legs don't seem to be aligning properly when trying to fold it up. Are there any specific instructions or tips you can provide on how to successfully fold and unfold this table?

Answered on Mar 21, 2024To properly fold and unfold the TÄRNÖ table, please follow these steps:
1. Ensure the table is in the open/unfolded position. The legs should be fully extended and locked in place.
2. To fold the table, first unlock the leg locks by pushing or pulling the small levers on each leg inward. This will release the legs.
3. Gently push down on the tabletop while simultaneously folding the legs inward. The legs should fold neatly against the underside of the tabletop.
4. To unfold, simply pull the legs outward until they click into the locked position. Make sure all four leg locks are engaged before using the table.
If you're still having trouble with the folding mechanism, double-check that there are no obstructions or debris preventing the legs from folding properly. With a little practice, the folding action should become smooth and easy
