Adjustable hinges allow you to adjust the door horizontally and vertically.
The drawers and doors close silently and softly, thanks to the integrated soft-closing function.
The shelves are adjustable so you can customize your storage as needed.
Two drawers make it easy to keep your belongings organized. The shelves behind the doors give you even more storage space.
Optimize and organize your BESTÅ storage with boxes and inserts that you like.
Go ahead and put things aside for a while! A sideboard combination gives you plenty of space to store things and a surface to create an attractive display - or to unload serving dishes while you eat.

Posted on Sep 27, 2023I'm having trouble closing the drawer completely because it gets stuck due to the soft-close mechanism. How can I fix this issue?
Kenzo @ EasyRebuild
Answered on Sep 29, 2023To fix the issue with the drawer not closing completely due to the soft-close mechanism, you can try the following steps:
1. First, check if the drawer is properly aligned within the cabinet frame. Ensure that the drawer glides are installed correctly and are not obstructed.
2. If the drawer is aligned properly, the issue may be with the soft-close mechanism itself. Try adjusting the soft-close mechanism by turning the adjustment screw located on the drawer glide. Turn the screw clockwise to increase the closing force, which should help the drawer close more smoothly.
3. If adjusting the soft-close mechanism does not resolve the issue, the mechanism may need to be replaced. You can contact IKEA customer service to obtain a replacement soft-close mechanism and follow the instructions to install it.
4. As a last resort, you can disable the soft-close function by removing the soft-close mechanism entirely. This will allow the drawer to close without the added resistance from the soft-close feature

Posted on Sep 17, 2023Can the soft-closing function be disabled if needed?
Sometimes I find it a bit annoying when trying to open or close the drawers quickly.
And can the shelves behind the doors be removed and reattached as needed, or are they fixed in place?
Alice @ EasyRebuild
Answered on Sep 19, 2023The soft-closing function on the drawers can be disabled. There is a small lever or switch on the drawer slides that allows you to turn off the soft-closing mechanism. This will let you open and close the drawers more quickly if desired.
The shelves behind the doors are adjustable and can be removed and reattached as needed. The shelf pins can be repositioned in different holes to change the shelf height or remove the shelves completely. This provides flexibility to customize the interior storage space
