Posted on Apr 02, 2024I would like to install the Tonstad storage combination in my living room, but I'm concerned about the weight capacity of the shelves. Can you confirm if the maximum load per shelf is applicable to all the shelves combined? In other words, can I put a large and heavy item on multiple shelves without exceeding the 33lb limit?

Answered on Apr 04, 2024The maximum load capacity of 33 lb (15 kg) per shelf applies to each individual shelf, not the overall unit. You can distribute heavier items across multiple shelves, as long as the weight on each individual shelf does not exceed 33 lb (15 kg). This will allow you to store larger and heavier items in the Tonstad storage combination without exceeding the weight limit. Just be mindful of how you distribute the weight across the shelves to ensure even loading and stability of the unit

The handles are designed with clean lines to provide an elegant and seamless look. To open the doors, you can grasp the handles and slide them horizontally to the left or right, depending on which side you need to access. The sliding mechanism allows the doors to move smoothly without taking up any additional space when opened. This feature maximizes the usable space in front of the storage unit
