Posted on Oct 27, 2023I have two Trofast storage units, but the trays that came with them are not fitting properly into the slots.
Is there a trick to getting them to fit or do I need to contact customer service?

Answered on Oct 29, 2023The trays may not be fitting properly if they have become warped or deformed over time. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:
1. Check the tray dimensions - ensure they match the specifications for the Trofast system (17 3/8" x 13 3/8"). Over time, the trays may have slightly expanded or contracted.
2. Try gently bending or flexing the tray to reshape it. You can also try placing a heavy object on top to help flatten it out.
3. Ensure the frame slots are clean and free of any debris that could be obstructing the tray fit.
4. As a last resort, you may need to contact IKEA customer service to request replacement trays. They should be able to send you new ones that fit properly.
If the above steps don't resolve the issue, reaching out to IKEA is likely your best option to get the trays functioning correctly in your Trofast storage units
