Posted on Aug 24, 2023I'm having trouble closing the glass doors smoothly, they seem to stick a bit. Is there any way to lubricate them or do you have any recommendations for how to make them run more smoothly?

Answered on Aug 26, 2023To help the glass doors on your BESTÅ TV storage combination run more smoothly, you can try the following:
First, check if the hinges are properly adjusted. Loosen the screws on the hinges slightly, then open and close the doors a few times to realign them. Once they move freely, tighten the screws back up.
If the issue persists, you can try applying a small amount of silicone-based lubricant to the hinges. Avoid using oil-based lubricants as they can attract dust and grime over time. Apply just a tiny amount of the silicone lubricant to the hinge pins and wipe off any excess.
Lastly, ensure the doors are properly installed and the frame is level. If the unit is not level, the doors may bind. Use shims under the unit if needed to level it.
With some minor adjustments, you should be able to get the glass doors on your BESTÅ TV storage combination operating smoothly again
