Posted on Sep 07, 2023I have just assembled the Trofast storage combination and I'm having trouble getting the boxes to slide in and out smoothly. The guide rails seem a bit stiff and it's hard for my kids to move the boxes around easily. Are there any tips or tricks to make it easier for them to use?

Answered on Sep 09, 2023To make the Trofast boxes slide in and out more smoothly, try the following:
1. Ensure the guide rails are properly installed and aligned. Check that they are not bent or obstructed.
2. Apply a small amount of furniture polish or silicone-based lubricant to the guide rails. This will help reduce friction and make the boxes glide more easily.
3. Check that the boxes are not overstuffed. Overloading the boxes can make them difficult to slide. Encourage your kids to only store what they need in each box.
4. Teach your children to grasp the boxes firmly from the sides when sliding them in and out. This will help them apply even pressure and prevent the boxes from getting stuck.
5. If the issue persists, you can try gently sanding the guide rails to smooth out any rough spots that may be causing resistance.
With a little adjustment, the Trofast storage should become easier for your kids to use. Let me know if you have any other questions

Posted on Jul 20, 2023I love the design of the TROFAST storage system! I'm planning to use it for my kid's toys, but I have a question. Are the boxes that come with the frame easy to clean? My kid can be quite messy sometimes, and I want to make sure the storage system is easy to maintain.

Answered on Jul 22, 2023The TROFAST storage boxes are very easy to clean. The plastic boxes have a smooth, non-porous surface that wipes down easily. You can simply use a damp cloth or mild soap and water to clean off any spills or dirt. The boxes are also dishwasher safe, so you can give them a more thorough clean in the dishwasher if needed. The simple design of the TROFAST system makes it very easy to maintain, even with messy kids. The boxes can be quickly removed and cleaned to keep the storage unit looking neat and tidy

Posted on Oct 10, 2022I'm having trouble with the TROFAST storage system. The guide rails on the frame seem to be loose, causing the boxes to shift around when I try to move them.
Is there a way to tighten or secure these rails?

Answered on Aug 10, 2022To help the TROFAST boxes slide more smoothly along the guide rails, try the following:
1. Check that the frame is level and stable. Uneven surfaces can cause the boxes to stick.
2. Ensure the guide rails are clean and free of any debris or obstructions. Wipe them down with a damp cloth to remove any dust or dirt.
3. Apply a small amount of furniture polish or silicone-based lubricant to the guide rails. This will help reduce friction and allow the boxes to glide more easily.
4. Make sure the boxes are properly aligned on the guide rails. Ensure they are sitting flat and not tilted or crooked.
5. If the boxes still seem to be sticking, try adjusting the tension of the guide rails slightly. You can do this by tightening or loosening the screws that hold the rails in place.
With a few simple adjustments, you should be able to get the TROFAST boxes sliding smoothly again
