Posted on Aug 26, 2023I'm having trouble installing the TROFAST wall storage. The screws provided don't seem to be long enough to secure the unit to my wall. Can I purchase longer screws or is there another solution?

Answered on Aug 28, 2023The screws provided with the TROFAST wall storage may not be long enough for your specific wall type. Here are a few suggestions:
You can purchase longer screws at your local hardware store. Make sure to get screws that are the appropriate size for the wall material (e.g. drywall, concrete, etc.). The screws should be long enough to securely anchor the wall storage unit to the wall.
Another option is to use wall anchors in addition to the provided screws. Wall anchors will help the screws grip into the wall material more securely, even if the screws are not extremely long.
Finally, you can also explore using a wall mounting rail or strip that attaches directly to the wall. The TROFAST unit can then be hung onto the rail, which provides a stable and secure mounting solution.

Posted on Jul 06, 2023I'd like to know if this storage unit can be mounted on a plaster wall? I'm concerned about the stability and potential damage to the wall. Do you have any recommendations or tips for mounting it securely?

Answered on Jul 08, 2023The TROFAST wall storage unit can be mounted on a plaster wall, but you'll need to take some precautions to ensure a secure and stable installation that doesn't damage the wall.
First, make sure to use the appropriate wall anchors designed for plaster walls. Typical drywall anchors may not provide enough holding power. Look for anchors specifically rated for use in plaster.
Additionally, try to locate the wall studs behind the plaster and secure the wall storage directly into the studs whenever possible. This will provide the most stable mounting. If you can't hit the studs, use high-quality wall anchors and make sure to follow the manufacturer's instructions carefully.
It's also a good idea to predrill the holes in the plaster to prevent cracking or crumbling. Go slowly and use a sharp drill bit designed for masonry. Taking these precautions will help ensure a secure, damage-free installation of your TROFAST wall storage on your plaster walls

Posted on Sep 04, 2022I'm considering the TROFAST wall storage system for my daughter's bedroom, but I have a concern about the stability of the frames. Are they designed to withstand the weight of multiple boxes and items, or are there any specific installation requirements to ensure their stability?
