Posted on Feb 28, 2024I am trying to install the TROFAST wall storage on a plaster wall. The instructions suggest using the provided wall anchors, but my plaster walls do not have any studs behind them. Can I use something else instead of the wall anchors?

Answered on Mar 01, 2024For plaster walls without studs, you can use hollow wall anchors instead of the provided wall anchors. Hollow wall anchors are designed to securely hold screws in drywall or plaster walls that do not have solid backing. Make sure to use anchors rated for the weight of the TROFAST wall storage. Insert the hollow wall anchors into the pre-drilled holes, then screw the TROFAST wall storage directly into the anchors. This will provide a sturdy mounting solution for the TROFAST on your plaster walls

Posted on Apr 14, 2023I'm trying to install the TROFAST wall storage, but I'm having trouble attaching it to the wall. Can you provide more detailed instructions on how to secure it properly? Specifically, I'd like to know what type of screws or anchors are recommended for use with this product.

Answered on Apr 16, 2023To properly secure the TROFAST wall storage, you'll want to use wall anchors and screws that are suitable for the type of wall material in your home. For drywall, use hollow wall anchors and screws that are at least 2.5 inches long. Make sure to drill pilot holes before inserting the anchors and screws to prevent the wall from cracking. For concrete or brick walls, use concrete wall anchors and screws that are at least 2 inches long. Pre-drill the holes using a masonry bit. Ensure the anchors and screws are securely fastened to properly support the weight of the TROFAST storage unit and its contents. Take the time to properly install it for a safe and sturdy wall-mounted solution
