Posted on Aug 21, 2022I've just assembled my Kallax shelf unit and I'm having trouble getting the inserts to stay in place. They keep falling out or shifting around when I try to add items to them. Can you provide any tips on how to secure them properly?

Answered on Aug 23, 2022To secure the inserts in your KALLAX shelf unit, here are a few tips:
1. Ensure the inserts are properly aligned and pushed all the way into the compartments. They should fit snugly without any gaps.
2. Check that the small plastic clips on the back of each insert are engaged with the shelf frame. These clips help lock the inserts in place.
3. If the inserts are still shifting, you can apply a small amount of adhesive or double-sided tape to the back of the inserts where they contact the shelf frame. This will help hold them securely in position.
4. Avoid overloading the inserts, as excessive weight can cause them to become dislodged. Distribute items evenly across the shelves.
Following these steps should help stabilize the inserts and prevent them from falling out or moving around when you add items to the KALLAX unit
