Posted on Apr 29, 2023I recently purchased the Ekerö armchair in dark blue and I'm loving it! However, I've noticed that the back cushion is slightly sagging. Is there a way to fluff it up or tighten it without damaging the fabric?

Answered on May 01, 2023To address the sagging back cushion on your EKERÖ armchair, you can try the following:
1. Fluff the cushion manually. Gently pat and smooth the cushion to redistribute the filling and restore its shape.
2. If the cushion is still sagging, you can try removing the cover and shaking or fluffing the filling inside. Be careful not to overstuff the cushion, as that can cause it to appear bulky.
3. Another option is to use a small amount of low-profile polyester fiberfill to lightly stuff the cushion. This can help plump up the cushion without altering the overall shape or look of the chair.
4. Avoid using excessive force or pulling on the fabric, as this could damage the upholstery. The key is to gently manipulate the cushion to restore its original loft and support.
If the sagging persists, you may want to contact IKEA customer service to inquire about a replacement cushion or other options under the 10-year limited warranty
