Is it manual or motorized?
Can I set it to stay at a certain angle or does it automatically go back to upright when I get up?

Answered on Aug 21, 2023The GISTAD recliner has a manual reclining mechanism, not a motorized one. To adjust the reclining positions, there is a lever located on the side of the chair that you can pull to recline the backrest. The chair can be set in 3 positions - upright, lean back, and full recline. It does not automatically return to the upright position when you get up. You'll need to manually push the backrest forward to return it to the starting upright position

Posted on Dec 15, 2022I have a Gistad recliner and I love it! However, the Bomstad black cover has started to peel off in some areas. Is there any way to repair or replace this cover without having to purchase a whole new recliner?
